Columbia Intermodal is the trucking arm of the Columbia Group of Companies. It operates a first class a chassis pool in the Port of Boston.
In 2009, Massport selected Columbia Intermodal for their expertise to operate a full-service neutral chassis pool. Located at a 12-acre site less than one mile from the Port of Boston, this equipment pool also helps reduce port congestion and in turn improves vessel and port operations.
