RobertCastro Robert W. Castro has been with Columbia since March of 1994. In 2001, he was promoted to Vice President of Finance and Administration and moved with the company to its current headquarters in Liberty Corner, NJ. In 2004, he was named Chief Financial Officer of the Columbia Group of Companies.

In his role as CFO, Castro has been responsible for all accounting, financial and tax reporting as well as all other fiscal matters pertaining to the Columbia Group. He also regularly interfaces with the company’s government and risk management departments to insure that the company’s fiscal and operations meet all regulatory requirements. Under his purview, Columbia Coastal Transport became one of the first companies to have its Vessel Security Plans approved by the U.S. Coast Guard.

Prior to joining the Columbia Group of Companies, Castro spent seven years with Maher Terminals, Inc. as Manager of Accounting/Finance in Jersey City, NJ.
